VOLUNTEER AT A TRAIL ESCAPE EVENT AND GET A FREE ENTRY FOR THE FOLLOWING YEAR!
We need a friendly team of volunteers to support us on the trails. Enjoy stunning surroundings while you help our runners & hikers achieve their medal!
We have a variety of roles to fill such as welcoming participants, helping at Aid Stations, course marshalling and handing out medals.
This is a wonderful chance to support our amazing runners & hikers in beautiful surroundings for a truly rewarding experience. Plus a huge sense of reward from doing so.

We currently need support for our events :
We will need volunteers at various times of the day, at various locations according to the role. Some roles at the start and finish will be easily accessible by public transport.

We ask that you bring warm clothes and suitable footwear for the trails.
Check the weather forecast and bring appropriate clothing. If it is raining, we advise waterproof shoes or boots and a waterproof jacket.
Please also bring a refillable water bottle with you, filled.
Drinks and snacks will be available to our volunteers throughout the shifts.
We are currently in need of volunteers for Bristol-Bath on Saturday 5 October 2024.
SATURDAY 5 OCTOBER - BRISTOL-BATH
If you are allocated a role at one of the two starts, your shift will be from 6.30am - 10am
These roles include helping participants with way finding and the start process
2) FINISH (VICTORIA GARDENS, BATH)
If you are allocated a role at the Finish in Victoria Gardens, Bath, shifts available are:
10am - 3pm
2pm - 7pm
These roles include handing out medals and items to finishers
3) AID STATION (VARIOUS LOCATIONS)

Our volunteers will not only benefit from being a part of an incredibly inspiring and beautiful event out on the trails but also be given:
All volunteers must be 16 on the date of the event to volunteer. If anyone under 16 wants to volunteer, they must be accompanied by an adult who has also signed up to volunteer.
Of course, as long as they sign up to volunteer too!
We will be in touch with all volunteers after event day to offer you the chance to select the event of your choice in 2025.
The roles do not require any previous experience. We will provide you with all the information you need to fulfil your volunteer role on the day. All you need is a positive can-do attitude!
If a role requires a certain amount of stamina or distance to walk to the position, we will make that information available at point of role allocation so you do not get given an unsuitable task!
